WHY DO SO MANY PEOPLE INSIST THAT DROR DID NOT COMMIT THIS CRIME?
1
Dror had a perfect alibi and a confirmed schedule that the police checked and rechecked. Furthermore, according to the prosecution's theory, Dror made a phone call at 3:50 on the afternoon of the crime. He then made another phone call twenty minutes later. So Dror would have had to sneak away from his alibi , drive to the wig store, brutally maim three people, run out and drive away, get rid of all the evidence, such as the bloody clothing and murder weapon, and ensure that all traces of his crime were gone. He was to have pulled off this attack successfully in twenty minutes time on the busiest shopping day of the year, in the middle of the afternoon. Indeed, when the police attempted to recreate this scenario, they found that it was impossible, and that Dror's claims were true.

Although there were three people brutally stabbed , there is absolutely no physical
evidence linking Dror to the crime.

Dror has a peaceful nature, and had never been in a violent confrontation in his life. Dror had no reason or motive to commit such a heinous crime. Over 40 individuals testified to Dror's strong character. In the years since his conviction, he has not been involved in any violent altercations that would characterize him as insidious or malicious.

Many of the people not associated with Dror's family who attended the trial noticed a judge who acted in a very biased manner towards the prosecution, in a courtroom circus laden with anti-Semitic overtones and sloppy legal practice.

When the
Houston Police Department Crime Lab was shut down in 2003, it was revealed that hundreds of innocent men and women may have been convicted of crimes that they did not commit due to the shoddy testing practices of the lab technicians. We believe that Dror is one of those who were wrongly convicted.
